The Mallet Event Center & Arena is currently seeking an Assistant Arena Manager. The Assistant Arena Manager is responsible for keeping the Event Center in good repair and working order, including assisting the Arena Manager in the management and upkeep of the Arena, Expo Hall, stall barn and RV park. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, energetic, highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize, and possess exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to setup and tear down of horse/hog panels and other needs for events. Be able to problem solve and think quickly during critical events and situations. Experience in agriculture area preferred. Extensive knowledge on operating tractors, lifts, skid steer, and other heavy equipment. Knowledge of equestrian events, livestock shows and trade shows preferred. Ideal background and skills include working knowledge of heating and cooling system and electrical system.
